About Us

In 2008, while I owned a boutique in Tucson, Arizona, I embraced a lifestyle change and chose to stop consuming meat. Inspired by this shift, I committed myself to selling only cruelty-free fashion. It quickly became clear how challenging it was to find products that were not only stylish and high-quality but also cruelty-free and ethically produced.

After relocating to Los Angeles in 2014, I launched Coquette, driven by my passion to create the elegant, Louboutin-inspired pumps I loved—but with compassionate, vegan materials. Our debut collection featured the Azar pumps, available in ten stunning colors, crafted entirely from vegan materials. The incredible response and support from the vegan community fueled my passion further.

Determined to deepen my understanding of footwear design and manufacturing, I took time to carefully research and connect with a factory that aligned perfectly with my ethical vision. In 2018, I proudly partnered with a 100% woman-owned factory, marking a significant milestone in our journey. We officially rebranded as "Cult of Coquette," introducing a thoughtfully curated collection featuring six unique styles across various colors and textures.

Today, we continue to evolve and regularly introduce new styles inspired directly by our customers' tastes and desires. I'm deeply grateful for the incredible support we've received—from our beginnings to now and into the future. Thank you for being a part of our journey.
